Our Initiatives
DB Dream Master Scholarship
The DB Dream Master Scholarship provides financial support to graduate students pursuing a master’s degree to cultivate elite professionals with expertise in their respective fields. This scholarship is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting students with ambitious aspirations who strive to make a meaningful impact on society.
Open to students who are current or former members of the Dongbu Scholars Volunteer Group, “Donghari” (1st to 9th batch), or have won an award in the final round of the DB Insurance & Finance Contest.
Scholarship Amount: KRW 6 million per semester, awarded up to four times starting from the semester of selection
Application Period: Once a year, primarily in April (online application)

Be a current or former member of Donghari (1st to 9th batch) or a DB Insurance & Finance Contest award recipient.
Have been admitted to a master’s program at a general graduate school for the spring semester or be seeking admission for the fall semester.
Have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.8 (on a 4.5 scale)
Applicants enrolled in the following programs are NOT eligible: Specialized graduate schools such as MBA programs or law schools
KRW 6 million per semester (awarded up to four times from the semester of selection)
1st Submission (Application Stage): Scholarship application form & personal statement, Study and research plan
2nd Submission (Interview Stage): Certificate of enrollment, Undergraduate transcript, Language proficiency certificate, Supporting documents (research papers, academic achievements, awards, etc.), Letter of recommendation from an academic advisor (undergraduate or graduate level)

If a recipient fails to enroll in graduate school, their scholarship will be revoked.
Recipients are evaluated every semester based on academic performance and participation in foundation-designated activities to determine whether they remain eligible for continued funding.
